Searching for the parents of Gerardus Hendrikus Franciscus Wingels

I'm helping a friend look for any more info on Gerardus Hendrikus Franciscus Wingels. The only certain source I have is a marriage in 1926, it says that he was born in Holland. I think I've found a possible death record and have added it in the research notes section. This death notice brings up a possible match on familysearch to this profile, and I'd love to hear any thoughts/suggestions. I really don't know what I'm doing when looking at records from Holland. Any help would be much appreciated!

He was born 16 June 1891 in Waalwijk, son of Johannes Franciscus Wingels and Elisabeth van Riel.

He departed to Durban, Z. Afrika on 1 August 1922. See image, line 44.

That is fantastic, thank you Jan!!! The son of Johannes Franciscus Wingels and Elizabeth van Riel had come up as a possible match on familysearch, which is what prompted this question in here. I couldn't see a way to tie him to SA...thank you thank you thank you, my friend is going to be so happy laugh

Jan, do you know if we're allowed to put these images on the profiles? I tried looking around on the site but couldn't find anything specific about reusing their images.
The 'official' statement about copyright is here: https://salha.nl/bezoekersinformatie/auteursrechten

That is a common very vague description. In general, there is no copyright on state documents in the Netherlands and nearly all data is open access (given the timelocks on them). The same holds for the scans.
Great, thank you Michel. Maybe to avoid any timelock issues I'll not upload images for 1922, but his birth should be ok
Happy to assist, Pam!

Please note that his official given names do not include "Franciscus", looks like kind of patronymic added in SA...
You're quite right, so far it's only found in the marriage record - and maybe the death if that record is correct too.

Oh wow Jan! What a treasure heart
