Hi All

I’m trying to find further information on Mary Ann Burns nee Nicholas 1877-1942, parents Edward Nicholas and Mary Ann Sidebottom.

Mary Ann married James Burns in New Zealand 1908 and sometime after they relocated to USA, last place of residency  Rhode Island USA.

Husband James passed away before wife Mary Ann.

No idea about children, can’t find final resting place.

Thanks in advance.

There are three children recorded as being born to a James and Mary Burns between 1908 and 1921. James Edward b. late in 1908, died aged 10wks in 1909. David Frank b. 1910, no death recorded in NZ for him up to 1970. In 1931 there is a David Frank Burns on the electoral roll, living in Wellington; he is a cobbler. This is the only year he is listed.  Norman James b.late 1911, died early in 1919 aged 7.
