Parents of Vincent A. Dent?

Question

Looking for information on Vincent A. Dent. Married Catherine cassell daughter of George w. Cassell & Mahala Tout. Found records of Vincent's name spelt vincen and Vince. Vincent remarried after Catherine pasted, Catherine had 3 children with Vincent. My question stems from... Before the marriage there is no records of Vincent, so if anyone can help with where he came from, and whom his parents are, that would be nice. On phone will edit this with a profile link latter...

Remeber that odd spelling of the first name, cuz?  Vinson  That can't be ruled out, and I haven't forgotten him, still look for info when I am in that part of the country.

We had supposed that Samuel was possibly a brother but haven't found the connection yet.  There were some Maryland via Virginia Dents that came to the Indiana area but no connection made ... if I recall it was a Benjamin that I swore was the father, but alas...not.

Vison is a weird spelling of his name, since found vincen, and Vincent, it make me wonder the middle name as the Cassell, would use their middle name instead of their first name, but I wonder if there is another spelling form that he is under that makes him hard to find in 1850. I figure if 1832 is correct then he's 18. But I have not been lucky, due to that age it could give me his parents or he could be moved out. I have 1850's for spouses, I just thought it might have more answers. Thanks Beautiful.

Still Looking for Vincent Dent before 1860, Born about 1832 +- a year or two,

Catharine Cassell his first wife died before he enrolled, and after his second son.

Vincent Dent & Catharine Cassell had Jefferson Francis Dent, John Edward Dent "Known as Eddie" (1870 is in his parents house hold and thier Uncle Jefferson Cassel house)

Before the marriage of Vincent Dent & Catherine Cassell, there is no records of Vincent, so if anyone can help with where he came from, and whom his parents are, that would be nice.

I am looking for his parents, where he grew up, etc.

I am looking for an 1850 Census or some thing else... 1850 he would be 18.  I haven't been able to trace the 1850.  So I figure he not in Owen County, IN in 1850.  The 1870 census says he is born in IN, but I have been unlucky with finding him.

Yes, Rebecca Elizabeth (Martin) Inge Dent is his second wife, Catherine did Die. Elizabeth lost her husband too, before marrying Vincent Dent.

Cathrine had 2 children with Vincent and Elizabeth 1child, and her pior husband 3 children.

Have not found parents,  But saw this.

Vincent A, Dent married Catherine Cassel  Aug 24 1860

So perhaps she died and he married,married Elizabeth Inge Nov 2 1865.

looking at 1870 0riginal  Census  document, ther is a Samuel F. Dent living next

to Vinceant , Samuel F. born about  1835  Thought they were related,but did not

find a record associated with Vincent.  Although Samuel born Indiana.

This is a tough one.But many other trees do not show parents.

Yeah, he is with the Catherine Cassell in 1860 and with and with Rebecca Elizabeth (Martin) Inge 1870.

 

Since he just kinda Turns up, I am wondering if he was born elsewhere...

I have both marriages, and this war records,

 

Samuel F.  Dent is with him and went to war... he also married a Catherine.  I Think his parents where found but he didn't have a brother vincent.  But I thought the same
