Searching For: Noel Lane (AKA John Winkler) in Ascot Queensland Australia around 1968

Question

This was the biological father of my close Aunt Cheryl Ferguson. He is no longer alive, but do not know where he was laid to rest or even where he was born.

All we know is that his name was Noel Lane, he also went by another name of John Winkler. He did not appear to be in my Nans (Helen Gwen Furgusen) life for long, although she fell pregnant with who would become my wonderful aunt, and i'd really like to try and solve this mystery just to give her a bit of additional closure and understanding of her heritage.

We do know that he was working as a machine operator in Ascot QLD at the time Cheryl was born in 1968.

I know this is a long shot, but any help would be much appreciated :) Thank you in advance.

Ok i have since got access to a child safety document that says Noel Lane (k/a John Wlnkler) was married (so he was doing the dodgy) and was 35 at the time of Cheryl's birth. That makes his year of birth 1933 approx.

Helen Gwen Ferguson & Noel Lane were in a defacto relationship for 12months from 1966-1967 but was not around when Cheryl was born and he may not have known Helen was even pregnant.

Can i please get more help with finding Noel Lane (John Winkler), thank you team
