I've completed my DNA profile.

I would love advice on how to further research my Family Name through the Georgia Nail lineage and trace back to colonial era.

Thanks for any assistance!

Hello Rick! I am indirectly related to the Nails who ended up in Franklin County, Georgia. The wife of Joseph Nail (Jr) married Frances Smith; after Joseph's death Frances married Burrell Whitehead and they had one daughter, Frances Whitehead. I descend from the Whitehead-Smith marriage. I have done some research on them but most of what I found is here on WikiTree. It is nice to meet an "almost" cousin; if I can be of any help, please let me know.
