Permissible to include confirmed genetic connection that does not disclose other person's identity?

Hello WikiTree team,

I would like to include a subsection at the end of some of my distant ancestor's profiles that has a list of confirmed genetic connections (based on people who match me at, say, the 2nd to 4th cousin level, without specifically mentioning the other person or me) and the other historical evidence that suggests a connection between their distant ancestor and my distant ancestor. Is it permissible to include such information provided it does not disclose the other person's identity, nor my identity? For example, the heading and first item in the subsection on my distant ancestor's profile might say something like this:

Known genetic connections

(1) There is a gentleman in Australia whose autosomal genetic results suggest a connection to this profile. He has an ancestor who also has the surname Maher and is also from Kilfenora, Co. Clare, as is the person described in this profile. The name of his distant ancestor is (so-and-so) Maher and his ancestor's profile is here: [link to his distant ancestor's WikiTree profile].

As you can see, this does not disclose the identify of either living person; neither the other person, nor me - only the surname in common, Maher.

Is this permissible? If not, what is the best way to include genetic connections in WikiTree? I would really like to start piecing the web of genetic connections together and try to "connect the dots" as a work-in-progress that others can see and collaborate on (including after I'm dead and long gone). I have several people who lived in the late 1700s to mid 1800s who I know are connected somehow and want to put all of them on one page, such as on the page of the most distant known ancestor, for future reference and study. Maybe others down the road could read the subsection, pick up on various clues, and fill in the gaps to explain the connections that I'm currently unable to explain.

Would this genetic connections data be more appropriate in a personal genealogy blog (e.g., WordPress) rather than WikiTree?

Thank you for your advice and guidance.

One option wpuld be to create a free-space page and then add  == Research Notes== with a link to the space page and something like “DNA testing has connected several descendants of this person, for additional information see [link to space page].

Anyone already in Wikitree with DNA test information posted should show up on the page already if they are a DNA descendant unless there are too many intervening generations.

I did something similar to this on the profile for my 4 x great grandmother using a Research Notes section - see Barber-7676.

I recommend asking their permission.  Most testees I ask are willing to have at least their kit number viewable along with the name of the testing company.
