The WikiTree Challenge: Will you join a July team? [closed]

Question

We are in the midst of our most ambitious community event ever: The WikiTree Challenge.

Each week in 2021, a team of WikiTreers is collaborating on the tree of a special genealogy guest star. Our challenge is to make their genealogy more accurate and complete than it is anywhere else. Here are all the details: Help:WikiTree_Challenge.

Can you participate in any of these weeks? 

Week 27: Jul 7 - Jul 14 John Boeren

Week 28: Jul 14 - Jul 21 Louis Kessler

Week 29: Jul 21 - Jul 28 Connect-A-Thon - have fun!!!

Week 30: Jul 28 - Aug 4 Daniel Loftus

To register, simply post an answer below (not a comment) and say something like "I want to participate in weeks 28 and 29."

Remember that you don't need to be skilled in the records for those ancestor locations. Things you can do to help:

• Write biographies for others
• Work with the Category project for needed categories
• Add relevant resource links for others to use (to blogs, etc.)
• Check the G2G post occasionally and notify the captain of questions
• Keep an eye on Discord in case others need help
• Upload pictures that were approved by the guest to that weeks Space page
• Search a paid site you belong to for obituaries and articles

Mindy: Maybe for my week, you could alter the format and allow me to be a working member of the team. I'm registered to be part of Jarrett Ross' team and work all week to see what I can help find on his Ashkenazi Jewish side and see how that works. For my week, I'd love to just be a grunge worker and get hints and give hints to help flesh out whatever can be fleshed out. I know my ancestry will likely be the most challenging week so far for your experts, and they might appreciate full time help from the challenger for one week. You know I've been one of your top supporters since the challenge started. What da ya say?  (p.s. No hard feelings if you decide you still have to say no.)
