I see this is the McNairy County Gooch family. There have been discussions on our FB page, McNairy County History and Genealogy regarding the Gooch family, a prominent family in the area. They owned the Gooch Hotel and were active in civic affairs.

Hello. I just saw your post about the Gooch family of Tennessee. I am definitely interested. My great grandmother‘s maiden name was Gooch. That name was passed on to my grandmother as a middle name - Eunice Gooch White, who married a Pafford. Her mother‘s name was Eunice Gooch as well, who married a White.
