Have a "Dumbell" in your family? (and I mean the surname wink) Join the "Dumbell One Name Study"! Variants of the name include: Dumberell, Dumbrill...

I've traced the name back to George William Dumbell (I'm 10 degree's from him) who was born in 1832 Isle of Man, England.

I've found the surname "Dumbell" in Texas, New York, California, Connecticut, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina and Massachusetts.

I seem to be related to no Dumbells, but a lot of Crooks.

Hi Keith,

I have over 140 Dumbell profiles, most originating in the Liverpool area. Those who emigrated to the U.S. in Philadelphia.  Earliest ancestor 1769 (4x GGF).  I would be happy to add profiles to name study.

Thank you so much Fred! Please do!
The counties '''Lancashire''' and '''Merseyside''' have been added to the subcategories of the Dumbell Name Study.
Hi Kieth,

Saw the Lancashire subcategory after I had added a few to the study.  I'll go back and redo others as needed.

Fred
Thanks Fred!
