Various sources state that Burrows-194 married Ashcraft-179 on 12 Sep 1690 in Groton CT, and Burroughs-751 married Tuttle-1392 on 29 May 1689 in New London CT. Both Burrows-194 and Burroughs-751 are born on 14 Dec 1672 in Groton CT, the daughter of Hannah Culver Burrows (Culver-124). All available evidence suggest that Culver-124 gave birth to only one daughter named Mary on 14 Dec 1672. The will of Culver-124, dated 1731 Groton CT, states (1) “I give unto my loving daughter Mary Tuttle my best feather bed” and (2) “I give all the Remainder of my Estate, after my just debts and funeral charges are paid unto my three daughters Mary Tuttle, Margaret Duey, and Hannah Woodward . . .” See Probate Court (New London District) records 1675-1916, v.
