Lindley was a Friend (Quaker)

James Vail (1772-1811) and Rachel (Line) Vail (1779-1863) were the parents of Lindley Murray Vail (1809-1887).^[1]

Lindley married Rachel (Harned) Vail (1813-1892) in 1835.^[1]
