Peter Stout, son of Samuel and Margaret Price Stout, was called Peter "the Quaker" while living in Cane Creek, NC.[1] He was born April 14 1715 in New Castle, Delaware and died August 29 1802 in Chatham County, North Carolina.[2][3] In 1739 he married Margaret Cypert (Cypher) in Conewago, Adams, Pennsylvania[4] daughter of Larrance and Margaret Cypert, who was born in Germany June 12 1716 and died October 31 1799 in Cane Creek, NC.[5]
