Thanks for making the Bio Generator, I use it a lot. I ran across a profile that it doesn't like. It fails to generate anything. Wagoner-444

Thank you Greg for the bio generator. I see other comments here about it. It is very useful when sourcing. There is a typo in the word 'following' and it does not recognize that dates were sometimes 'before' or after. But for me that is a minor problem that may be too much to fix. Just thought I would point it out.

Hi Greg,

I use your bio generator all the time, thanks for such a great tool!

Can I ask if it is possible to have the generator list children in date of birth order instead of their Wiki ID#?

I edit many profiles that have 5-10 kids and many of their profiles were input at various times (sometimes years apart), and often the first born is listed last or last born listed first, etc., and wondered if this could be changed?

If not an easy fix, no problem, just thought I'd ask. Thanks!

Hi Greg,

I'm using de Biography Generator a lot and noticed that it sometimes doesn't work. After adding the profile number (by copy/paste) and pressing generate nothing happens. Changing the profile number shows the app works, but not for this specific profile. E.g. Eggers-629 and Dekker-554.

Thank you for your nice apps.

Hey Greg!

I figured you must be the maker of the Simple Bio tool. Just wanted to let you know of a typo. It says that two couples had "the folowing children" so as you can see an "l" is missing. No big deal, just thought it might be a simple fix :)

Thanks for the tool :)

Bio tool has been fixed as of this comment. Sorry for any trouble, I had no idea so many people were using it.

Hi Greg,

Thank you for creating this app, however, After entering a WikiTree ID and click generate nothing happens, I've tried Chrome and Edge, cleared cached files and cookies, still the same

I've been a happy user of the Bio tool for many months, but when I tried to use it yesterday, in the words of the 3 Stooges "Nothin' happened" I've tried this on a couple different computers, with the same result. Did something break?

Thank you for making "A tool to generate simple biographies." I had never used it prior to a yesterday when I remembered it existed and thought it would speed making simple bios for people I sourced in the sourceathon (I skipped that part to try get a bit of speed). Had I thought of it at the beginning of the Thon I would have used it then and wouldn't be needing to go back to the profiles I sourced. While it isn't perfect, it is saving lots of time, and even adding links to parents/children/spouses that I typically do not include.

Hi Greg

On behalf of the Categorization Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members. Please let me know if you are still active, and if so, in which ways you have contributed to the project, or a sub-project, within the last two months.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello Mr. Shipley,

I looked over the bio changes for Alexander White. I guess everything's fine. The whole thing makes my head spin! Bouncing back and forth between duplicates husbands, wives, and children... trying to make sense of sources... thank goodness I have enough messes to fix much further down the line. I doubt I'll live long enough to ever make it up the tree to this level of the White family and make any serious contribution. I appreciate all the work serious scholars have put into Alexander and his family.

Hi Greg,

I’m Steven, coordinator of the Categorization Project. Please have a look at the revamped Categorization Project page, specifically about the new team approach. Members will be now be part of the Maintenance Team. Project Liaisons and leaders will be involved in the Vision and Collaboration team.

Please contact me within the next week to let me know if you would like to remain an active member of the project. If I don’t hear back from you I will assume you no longer want to be a part of the Categorization Project.

Thanks, Steven

Hi Greg,

I was just walking a new member through how to use your bio-builder app because I find it so useful for the short bios. Thank you for having built it.

The profile we were working on had the died after flag set. I noticed that it is not respecting the after settings on death date. I didn't know if you were updating the app anymore but, if so, hope that you will add that feature. You can see what happens with this profile Mamie (Lloyd}} Coop.

Thanks again for the app, it save me so much time.

Hi Greg,

Happy to help with the popes project. Data cleansing is in my blood so I'll work through systematically. It used to be my livelihood until I retired so I have built up a number of techniques for ensuring data quality.

I see from your profile you recently married so congratulations and Best wishes.
