She was the daughter of Walter Crockett Scott and Mary Alice Nancy R. (Crabtree) Scott.[1]
In 1930 & 1940, Hazel lived with her parents and siblings and nephews in Clear Fork Magisterial District, Tazewell, Virginia, United States.[2][3]
In January 22, 1946, Hazel married Claude Columbus Thompson in Tazewell, Virginia, United States.[4]
They had 2 sons:
- Ronald J Thompson-1946–Living
- Cloyd Eugene “Doc” Thompson=1948–2022[5]
On January 26, 1967, Hazel died at the age of forty-three (43) in Fredericksburg, Virginia, United States. She was a Laundry Presser.[6]
Hazel is buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Four Mile Fork, Spotsylvania County, Virginia, USA.[7]
