Henry C Meiser was born about 1812 in McMinn Co., Tennessee. He was the son of John Meiser and Elizabeth Hale. He later changed the spelling of his surname to Mizer. [1]He was their 7th child.
Henry married Elizabeth E Wolf(1812-1908) in 1835 in Tennessee. She was the daughter of Jeremiah Wolf and Margaret Hafley.[1] They had 8 children.

Elizabeth Adeleah Mizer (1842-) b. AR. m. John Scaggs
Leah Tennessee Mizer (ca 1856-) b. MO.
They first migrated from Tennessee to Benton Co., Arkansas where they homesteaded in ca 1851. They moved to McDonald Co., Missouri in 1853 and settled near White Rock (now called Jane), McDonald Co., Missouri. [1]
They were living in Bradley Co., Tennessee in 1850 where Henry was a Farmer, with Eliza and their children Elizabeth 15, Mary-13, Margarett-11, Nancy-7, Michael-5 and George-2.[2] By 1860 they were living on a farm in Pineville, McDonald Co., Missouri with all 8 children. [3]
They had moved on to White Rock, McDonald Co., Missouri, where the were in 1870.[4][5] In 1880 they were in White Rock, McDonald Co., Missouri with their daughter, Elizabeth's 2 children, James C Scaggs-11, and Nancy E Scaggs-8, living with them.[6](She had seperated from her husband and gone to look for work)[1]
He passed away about 1888 in White Rock (later named Jane) McDonald Co., Missouri, and is buried at the Jane Cemetery in McDonald County, Missouri.[7]
