Biography

Olive Kate Lavers was born in 1871 in Bigbury, Devon, England to John Lavers and Susanna (Beavell) Lavers. Her birth was registered in Kingsbridge, Devon in the first quarter of the year, with her mother's maiden name recorded as Beavell.^[1]

In 1871 Olive Kate Lavers (age 0) lived in Kingston, Devon with her father John (44, Agricultural Labourer), mother Susanna (43), and three siblings: Alfred J (10, Scholar), Harriett E (5), and Albert (3).^[2]
