My name is Edmund D Flack, known as "Ted". I live in Redcliffe Queensland Australia. I have been researching my family tree for about 25 years and have traced my Flack ancestors back to William Flack b. abt. 1770 in Co. Monaghan Ireland. I have Y-DNA matches with Samuel Flack (abt. 1802-1867) who migrated with his wife, Margaret Jane Flack nee Hall (1807-1872) to Sterling, Cayuga County, New York USA in 1849. You can read my research reports at https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/review?uri=urn:aaid:scds:US:9400b7d6-a49a-332c-bb21-ef38184ccbff
I have been impressed with your Wikitree posts and since we have a shared interest in Flack families thought you may like to make contact? Please email me at [email address removed] Regards Ted Flack
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
