Francis Marion Choate was born 20 June 1841 in Tishomingo, Tishomingo, Mississippi. He was the son of John Dillingham Choate Sr. and Celia Doe. He passed away 30 March 1901 in Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. He was interred in Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
