New Nova Scotia resource

I just noticed that there are some new documents on the Nova Scotia Archives site.  For example, they've been busy digitizing historical newspapers, some going back as far as 1769.

Let's go sourcing!

Nice, but they don't appear to be searchable by surname.  I use New Englanders in Nova Scotia a lot.  They cover families that went to NS during the American Revolution. I use the version on the New England Historical and Genealogical Society website.

I agree, we're going to have to go reading!
I don't mind unindexed sources. So many of what I need have not been digitized let alone indexed. Old newspapers also give a good idea of what life was like for our ancestors even if they aren't mentioned in them.
