Aleš and Greg, is it possible to formulate a WikiTree+ search that retrieves all the persons who were born in Virginia between the years 1920 and 1930?

Magic words in the text search, Bill. You might have to do it in two parts for the two decades, but a combination of BirthLocation=Virginia and 1920s should get you everyone born there in that decade, rinse and repeat for 1930s for that decade.

That's going to be a lot of people though, more specific location would be better

Johnatan, that is not correct query. 

1920s Limits results to profiles with birth and death date, that were alive between years 1920 to 1929

I will show what would be correct query.
