Who were the parents of David Ashley, born 1735 in Mass

Question

Two David Ashleys, both born in Massachusetts and died there, need to be separated.

Meribah (Gaylord) Ashley Gaylord-1037 married David Ashley, born 1735; the marriage & DAR records source this.  Who were his parents?   A different David Ashley Ashley-450 married Hannah Leonard.
