Biography

Fred was born 23 Jan 1876 in Glidden, Iowa. He was the son of Manley Turner and Ione Webster. [1]

He lived with his parents in Carroll County, Iowa.[2][3][4][5]

Fred Manley Turner and Edna Belle Ruark were married 12 Jan 1905 in Richland Township, Carroll County, Iowa.[6]

They lived in Carroll County, Iowa.[7]

He registered for the World War I draft 14 Sep 1918 in Isanti, Minnesota.[8]

The family lived in Cambridge, Isanti, Minesota.[9][10]

On 3 Jun 1938 he committed suicide by dynamite explosion in Glidden, Iowa.[11] He had been ill and was found by a drainage ditch near his sister's home, where he had been living after his wife's death.

He is buried in West Lawn Cemetery, Glidden, Carroll County, Iowa.[12]
