Biography
Grew up in Lilla Frö, Resmo on Öland, county of Kalmar. I'm focusing my research on Öland and my ancestors in Kalmar County. That do not stop me to try to help merging profiles, connect unconnected profiles and try to add sources to profiles.
An overwhelming majority of my found ancestors 10 generations back are from Kalmar county and are mostly farmers. Some exceptions do exist. For example Francis Drummond, a Scottish mercenary that moved to Kalmar county or Lars Matsson Strusshielm, a boatswain from Norrköping who climbed the ranks during the Thirty Years' War. He died childless as one source puts it. He died however not without grandchildren, his daughters did however die before him. One of these grandchildren is my ancestor and she moved to Öland. I do also have some ancestors from Jönköping, more specific Fryele and Hisinge plus Torpa, Östergötland. These are however exceptions to all the ancestors from Kalmar county.

I sometimes link to Adelsvapen, but only together with first-hand sources or in some cases secondary sources if no first-hand exists.
You could say that Adelsvapen.com is an index of secondary sources, mainly "Gustaf Elgenstierna, Den introducerade svenska adelns ättartavlor. 1925-36" but also some others. The real source should be stated on the linked page, but often it's not, and almost never any direct reference to page or book. If you are lazy, you just link to Adelsvapen and make it hard for everyone else to look up the real source.
Thank you for merging and adding pre-1600 profiles, they are usually out of my scope of knowledge.
