Anna Morrison "Mollie" Smith was born on 25 August 1903 in Nashville, Tennessee, the second child of Horace Smith and Anna Webb. [1]
In the 1910 census, she was six years old and living at 605 Russell Street in East Nashville with her parents and two siblings, Isadore and Horace Jr. Her father was working as an insurance agent. The family had two servants, Ollie McPhart (nurse) and Lillian Johnson (cook).[2]
The Smith family home burned down on 22 March 1916 in the East Nashville Fire.
In the 1920 census, she was 16 years old and living with her parents and siblings at 810 Woodlawn in East Nashville. Her father was working as an insurance broker.[3]
Mollie married Stanley Henry Berens on 8 June 1925 in Nashville, Tennessee.[4] They had no children.
In the 1930 census, they were living in Cincinnati, Ohio, where Stanley was working as a salesman for a foundry.[5]
In the 1940 census, they were living in Nashville, where Stanley was working as an engineer for a foundry.[6]
In the 1950 census, they were living in Williamsburg, Clermont County, Ohio, where Stanley was working as an electronics expert doing government inspections.[7]
Anna Morrison "Mollie" (Smith) Berens died on 19 January 1971 in Clermont County, Ohio, and was buried at Williamsburg Cemetery.[8][9]
