Jemima Nicholson is a Witness to Lewis "Bear" Green, Sr.'s Will, written 9 Jan 1784 in Washington County, Virginia, and she proves the will in Court on 16 Aug 1785. This suggests Jemima may have been a sibling of Zachariah Green's and a daughter of Lewis "Bear" Green, Sr.. Benjamin Nicholson, Jemima's husband, is a witness to Lewis "Bear" Green, Sr.'s Will and he is mentioned in the Testimony given by Sarah Green regarding Lewis "Bear" Green, Sr.'s Will.

In the Name of God. Amen. I, Lewis Green of Washington County in Virginia, being in perfect health and of good and sound Memory, blessed be God, & But considering that all men if mortal and must Yeild (sic) to Death, do this Ninth Day of January in the year one thousand seven hundred and eighty four, do make, Publish, this my Last Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say, first, I give to my son, Zachariah Green, One bed and furniture, also three cows and all my Pewter Dutch Oven & fire Tongs and the Rest of my Estate to be sold and Equally Divided among all my children. I appoint Benjn. Nicholdson, Executor of this, my Will in Trust for Intents and purposes in this will Contained. In Witness Whereof, I, the said Lewis Green, have to this, my Last Will & Testament, set my hand & seal, the Day and year above written. /s/ Lewis (his mark) Green (Seal). Signed, sealed and Delivered by the said Lewis Green for this Last Will & Testament in presence of us: /w/Benja. Nicholson; Peter Nicholson; Jinaena (Jemima) Nicholson. At a court held for Washington County Augt. 16th 1785. This Last will and Testament of Lewis Green, Decd. was Exhibited in Court and proven by Oath of Jamima Nicholson, a Witness thereto & Ordered to be Recorded. Test. John Campbell, C. W. C.[1]
