Biography
Louis Després was born on 29 Apr 1853 and baptized on 25 Jun 1853 in Cocagne, New Brunswick, the son of Louis Després and Perpétue Robichaud.[1][2] His godparents were Placide Landry and Elisabeth Daigle.
In the 1861 census Luis (age 8) was listed with his parents and siblings in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick.[3]
