Is there a video(s?) that shows exactly how to do styles, standards, biographies, sources, references, and categories?

I learn best by watching someone do something and then copying that.  I have been looking for videos that demonstrate how to do all the things I mentioned in my question; but no luck so far.  Ideally, the video(s) should be geared toward a "For Dummies" audience (that's me!)  I've been here a while now and I still feel like WT is a coconut -- I want the delicious milk and fruit of understanding, but I can't figure out how to crack the outer shell.

Hi Lyn,

I'm so glad you reached out for resource suggestions.  I do a Q & A via Zoom twice a month.  The next one will be on Sunday, May 26 at 11 am EDT/3 pm UTC.  This format allows me and my co-hosts to answer people's questions in real time with screen sharing.  We also record the sessions and they're added to WikiTree's YouTube channel.

Here's the Free Space Page with dates, times and links.

Here's the G2G post for our May sessions.

Here's the YouTube playlist for the recordings of previous sessions.

That's a fantastic analogy about WikiTree as a coconut!  Hope to meet you soon.

I will be in attendance!  Thank you!  And I'm going to watch as many of these as I can before the Zoom.  Thx!

Lyn, I just wanted to mention there are some videos on You Tube that have helped me in the past. Just go to You Tube and search WikiTree.

Thanks, I have done that but apparently I'm not finding them.  I was hoping for some links to ones the community feels helped them the most.

Hi Lyn. There is a helpful list of videos at

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:WikiTree_TV

(but not updated since 2021).

Thanks.  Yes, I see that everything is just slightly different on these.I will watch more in the coming days.
