Death date after remarriage of husband?

Hello,

the dates for this person's death and the birth of her second child seem inconsistant with her husband's remarriage in 1725/26 to Elizabeth Klinkenberg. (Klinkenberg-96)

Any ideas?

Confusion is always possible. With so many similar names even among the (by current standards!) Dutch-Huguenot community of New Netherland, it is always possible to confuse one "Jan Peters" with another.   After only typos (usually corrected quickly) most genealogical errors are either confusion or the result of poor sources.

Trust that good will is the norm, but verify anything shaky.

I definitely don't discount difficulties.

Lots of good will from my side - just hoping someone out there has an idea how verification might proceed.

Not a personal priority.

Enjoy the holidays!
