Hugs and kisses to you Cousin Alexis, You are too kind to be family. Thanks for being you!

K, it looks like we are at least 11th cousins, or maybe closer.heart

Just a few more files in the Edmondson line. I'm sure we are closer than 11c.

Thanks Cousin Luther, your grandpa Jesse makes me wonder if you had some kin here in Missouri around early 1800's.

Thanks Cousin Tommy. I wouldn't be surprised we have a Garver connection here in the Midwest down around Osceola, Mo.

Thanks for all of the support. It has been fun and interesting building the puzzle. I never really considered that my family lived on the edge of civilization (Missouri 1830's) and has remained here since. Tracking family to and from, has been very interesting.

I haven't heard from this many cousins since I was a kid. Yesterday, I met a friend of a friend's aunt who introduced herself as Aunt Kathy. Within a couple minutes we determined I went to school with her best friend. I was going to correct her and say were probably just cousins but, I better do some checking first. It is a small world. Thanks for checking in.

I'm going to guess Cousin Tammy if you have a relative named John from Jackson Co, Mo. I never knew John as a relative until he was dead and gone, or should I say before I knew how to Wiki. Either way, I regret not knowing him better, he was sold gold. Thanks for the nod!
Do you have a Wiki # for John?  Would love to search for him and find out if we are related, Cochran is my married name.
I do not. I am only so far into genealogy and seem to have more family than time. John was a mechanic for my grandpa and uncles concrete company, and always made time for me when I was around. Like most guys 30 years my senior, he knew stuff I didn't. If I knew then what I know now, he would have been as impressed by me as I was of him.

David, David, David, I must admit,

Your lack of words, I’ll never forget,

Our Cousin Alexis, made it ever so clear,

It’s my female cousins I hold  most dear.

Thanks for all you do in this world of give and take.

I went all in before I knew Texas Holdem was a game. When I found my gr gr gr gr grandfather, I was pretty much hooked. Now, not so much. Now when I find I am attached to notable characters, I'm not as awestruck. But the first year has been fun!

Coffee, tea or beer, my Dr had me swear off all three, so I fired her. Where's halfway, I'll meet you in the morning for one of the three, or all three. Better yet, a shot of whiskey and a tandem jump. It wouldn't be the first time we risked all of our tomorrows to live for today! Thanks, meet you halfway.
For those that don't indulge, a little leftover from weekend chat.
