Biography

Mary was born in 1860 in Mullaghdoo, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the daughter of Alexander Wilson and Jenny Hill. She was baptised on 05-Sep-1860 in 1st Islandmagee Presbyterian Church.[1]

In 1901 she was 40 years old, not married and a seamstress, living with her aunt, Ellen Hill, and other family members in Mullaghdoo.[2]

During the 1911 Census of Ireland, Mary aged 50 was residing in a house 13 in Mullaghdoo (Island Magee, Antrim) with her widowed sister Jenny, and nieces and nephews.[3][4]

Mary passed away on January 22nd, 1937 aged 76.[5] She left a will, and probate was granted to Mary Brown and Elizabeth Mann, married woman.[6] She is interred in the Wilson Family Plot in Ballykeel Graveyard, in Islandmagee. [7]
