Biography

Jacob Tiemann was a farm lease holder at farm no. 3 in Eitzen near Bienenbüttel. Jacob had at least eight children:

  1. Magdalena Tiedemann (later Sander) (1648-1715)
  2. Hans Tiemann (1650-1665)
  3. Ilsabeth Tiemann (later Timm) (1653-1712)
  4. Hinrich Tiemann (1655-1716)
  5. Dorothea Tiemann (b. 1657)
  6. Margreta Tiemann (b. 1660)
  7. Jacob Tiemann (1662-1670)
  8. Peter Tiemann (1666-1716)

He passed away at his farm in 1693 and was buried in Bienenbüttel on 7 July.[1]

His birth year is estimated as about 1612 based on the age of 81 given in the Bienenbüttel church register at the time of his death in July of 1693.
