Ann Gould married Louis Michel Hyppolite Theriault on 10 October 1816 in Havre-aux-Maisons, Isles-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec, Canada. ^[1]

An well-researched article ^[2] has recently been published (in 2018) in the Connecticut Nutmegger by Jan Barber that describes Sophie Payne (the mother of Ann Gould) her two families and her ancestors back to Connecticut.

Paul Delaney ^[3] has also contributed much of the information about the ancestors and descendants of James Gould Jr. and his wife Sophie Payne.

It should also be noted that Janine Ruth Barber, Paul Delaney and Yvette Richard (the wife of David Cole) are all descendants of James Gould Jr. and his wife Sophie Payne.
