Biography
Marguerite Theriault was born on 22 Jun 1804 at Havre-aux-Maisons and baptized on 19 August 1804 in Havre-Aubert. [1] She was the daughter of Louis Theriault and Anastasie Cormier. Her godparents were Gratien Theriau and Victoire Theriau.
Marguerite married Fidèle Arseneault on 19 Aug 1823 in Havre-Aubert, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Bas-Canada. [2] Her father was listed as deceased in the marriage record. The witnesses were Marcel Arseneau, brother of the groom, Jean Hubert, nephew of the groom, Michel (?) and Abraham (?).
