Biography
Severin was born July 10, 1819, and baptized on August 8, 1819, as recorded in the St-Basile church register. He is the son of Simon Theriault and Marie Rose Cyr. Parents listed as Simon Terriau and Marie Rose Cyr. Godparents were Benoni Cyr and Marie Louise Lisotte.
Severin married Emilie Cyr August 12, 1850, at Saint-Basile. In the 1871 census Severin (age 53), Cultivateur, was married in St Basile, Victoria, New Brunswick.[1]
In the 1881 census Severan (age 65) was widowed and living with several children in Sainte-Anne, Victoria, New Brunswick.[2] In the 1891 census Savran (age 71) was widowed and living with his son Vital in Sainte-Anne, Victoria, New Brunswick, Canada.[3]
He died December 16, 1897, at Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, Madawaska County, New Brunswick, Canada. He was buried at Cimetière Père Solyme Azzie, Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, Madawaska County, New Brunswick, Canada.[4]
