She married John Thomas Hagan Sr. on 1 August 1864, in Charlotte, Mecklenburg, North Carolina, United States.[3]
They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 10 daughters.[4]
In 1870 and 1880, Julia and John lived in Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia, United States witht heir children.[5][6]
She lived in Fulton, Georgia, United States in 1900.[7]
She died on 30 September 1901, in Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia, United States, at the age of 53, and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia, United States.[8]
