Biography
Annie Elizabeth Smith was born on 29 August 1894 in Hoke County, North Carolina, United States. She was the daughter of William Wesley Smith and Sarah Margaret (McDougald) Smith.[1][2]
When Annie was 6 years old, she was enumerated on the 1900 United States Census. She was recorded in the household of her parents in Lumber Bridge, Robeson County, North Carolina.[3]
Annie was 15 years old when the 1910 United States Census was taken. She was living in the household of her parents in Lumber Bridge, Robeson County, North Carolina.[4]
Annie married Tracy Kyle Everett ) on 22 September 1915 at the Methodist parsonage in Raeford, Hoke County, North Carolina.[5][6] They were the parents of at least 5 children.
Annie and Tracy K. Everett were enumerated as a married couple on the 1920 United States Census. They were the parents of 3 children at that time. They were residing in Pearces Mill, Cumberland County, North Carolina.[7]
When the 1930 United States Census was taken, Annie, her husband, and their 4 children were living in Stonewall Township, Hoke County, North Carolina. A boarder also lived with them.[8]
They were also living in Stonewall Township when the 1940 United States Census was taken. Three of their children were living with them.[9]
Annie and her husband were separated when the 1950 United States Census was taken. Annie was living in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina.[10]
Annie Elizabeth (Smith) Everett died on 20 December 1987 in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina at the age of 93.[11] She was buried in Galatia Presbyterian Church, Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina.[2][12]
