I have worked on my personal genealogy for about 25 years. My main concentration is the surname Surber, a name that originates in the Surb River Valley of Switzerland. There were relatively few Surbers who came to the Colonies in the early days. I am putting all of the ones who descend from Henry Surber who arrived aboard the Mercury in 1735 into one tree. I have taken them back to the Original Immigrant and forward to the 1940 census. I have not entered my entire database on WikiTree so if you have questions, private message me.
My current project is working with my Ancestry DNA to break down some brick walls that have been resistant to typical genealogy tools. I have managed to find several family lines that way.
