I've connected my Profile to James C. Brown who resided in Wilkes County, North Carolina. I looked at Wilkes County for a paternal relationship for my likely last known paternal Ancestor https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Brown-168376. Also, my closest Ydna match is with a M. A. Brown who reports his ancestry also back to Wilkes County. It appears you are quite adept with chromosome analysis. I have a dna connection to Del Leger, though didn't see it with your other linked gedmatch relatives. I'm wondering if you could work on how my Ydna Haplogroup and Autosomal DNA coincides with the Brown's in Wilkes County. I also have a Joshua Brown Ydna connection https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Brown-171901 that married an Elizabeth Hudspeth that tracks back to Wilkes County, NC. I'm part of the Brown-45 Subgroup at the Brown Project on FamilyTreeDna.
Thank you for the vote of confidence on Chromosome analysis. Del is my half brother, and submitted a DNA sample at my request. I did not get samples from my other siblings. I am sorry if you think I am a DNA Guru because I struggle with DNA statements. I use the DNA Confirmation Citation Maker App.

Hello, I received your thank you. And I see that we are 11th cousins. Our commom ancestor would be John Tenney, our 10th great grandfather., thats on your fathers side. I see that I am also 7th cousin of your mother. That common ancestor would be Alexander Kaster Toney.
Hello Loretta, hope all is well with you. What a great piece of work you shared today on G2G, the Cheat Sheet for Suggestions. I will use that. Thank-you very much.
Loretta, please don't add claims about Cornblossom and her supposed family to wikitree. We soundly debunked this three years ago after extensive research. You can read our analysis here:
Hello Loretta, see you are a relation of Elisha and Abigail Knowles Have done a book on their son James and Martha and their descendants. Would love to talk and share info. Of all the families I have researched they are by far the most interesting with the best stories. Lisa Knowles Maciag
Thank you for your participation in October’s 2020 Source-a-thon. Your contributions helped us to clear over 57,000 profiles that needed sourcing. This makes our Shared Tree all that much better.
I should be thanking you! I tried to keep up...you must be much younger than I. We could not have done it without your contributions! Over a 1,000, wow, I have set a new goal for myself for the next Source-a-thon!!!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I noticed you edited the profile for Judith Guevarra, one of my wife's ancestors I just recently found. Thank you for this. Do you have any additional information on her?
Peter, I am working towards that goal. Give me a couple of weeks. :) The Source-a-thon is coming up the first weekend in Oct. Several wikitreer's will be sourcing profiles maybe something will show up then. :) If you would like to sign up please go to this link https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1097927/have-you-registered-for-the-2020-source-a-thon-yet?start=240#a_list_title I am the Co-Captian of the Southern Super Sweepers and we would be happy to have you on our team.
Hello, I want to thank you for looking at the Jack family information, I really appreciate it. I have a lot of documentation that I have collected over the years with documents, legal, wills, and mostly the JV Thompson Journals all 27 volumes. The problem is I don't how to site sources on here, and the Jack family has been a very hard family to verify due to such large families dating back to Scotland. Every generation and every brother and sisters usually have the same names. There are so many James, Johns, Matthews, Andrew William, with so many dates, it's just too hard to track it all. But I'm am working on them. Maybe if someone could help me write sources I would really appreciate it. Don't mean to be such a big problem. Thanks again.
All WikiTreers have gone through the same thing. I will send you some information that should help you. I will continue to work on the Jack Profiles. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the work you accomplished during our Connect-A-Thon 2020. It is amazing how many more profiles were created and added to our Shared Tree over the weekend. I hope you’ll join us for the Source-a-thon this fall.
Thanks so very much for your participation in the spring Clean-a-thon! Every suggestion you cleared (over 500!) made our Tree that much better. The WikiTree community appreciates YOU!
Yes, I have an Ancestry test. As far as I'm concerned, Jonathan b1760 was my earliest Barnard ancestor (my mother's maiden name). I don't pay much attention to this. (My brain is full). I don't know if I'd find any common connections with you even if I knew where to look.
Thank you for your reminder about sources. I have probably adopted more profiles than I can comfortably take care of properly. Even though they are in my lineage, they're also in someone else's who might take better care of them.
I am not adding anyone and will concentrate on going through those already in my care.
Hi Lorette: A note of appreciation for your hard work and contributions to the Fall "Source A Ton" this past weekend. In all you worked on getting our membership list up to date and functioning. You encouraged the team to do the best they can. I know you wish you could have done more profiles but family does take priority. And the weather didn't help either. Anyway,Thank you so much for all you did do representing the Super Sweepers as co-captain. I enjoyed working with you. Keep up the outstanding job in all you do on WikiTree.
Hi Loretta! Just a short note of thanks, and appreciation, for your help during the "connect a thon" this last weekend!! The Super Sweepers made it to tenth place and that was a hard achievement based on the competition going on. Thank you for encouraging the team, offering advice and just hanging in there with us through it all. Just know I am grateful for team members like yourself and your dedication to WikiTree.
Loretta, I accidentally stepped on a profile you had done. I added a source to remove all doubt on the name and gave it a false suggestion. Oops. Hope adding the WWII draft makes up for the faux pas.

It is unfortunate that Butch Walker included that myth in his otherwise good bio of Doublehead.
