Reuben was born about 1793. He passed away about 1856. He married Margaret Brown on 6 Jan 1828, with whom he had 2 children. Margaret passed away in 1828. He Married Alice Barlow on 13 July 1829, and had a further 7 children.

I think his birthplace was Whitefield, Lancashire, England (I used to live there). We also have differing birth dates. In the 1851 census he was stated to be 54 and in the death record I have for 1856 they say 64. So I'm not sure.
