Charles Sumner Jackson was born on May 7, 1875, in Xenia Township, Greene County, Ohio.^[1] His father, Edward Jackson, was 43 and his mother, Matilda Blair, was 35. He married Marilla E Taylor in 1897 in Springfield, Ohio. They had four children in 11 years. He died on January 13, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 71.
