Biography

Judith Hare was born 12 December 1818 in Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland, the daughter of William Hare and his wife Annie née Murphy.^{[1] [2][3]}

She was married to Samuel Furphy in Ireland.^[3] Samuel and Judith migrated to Victoria, Australia in 1840, sailing aboard the "Argyle", ^[4]
