My maternal grandparents were Danube Swabians that had to re-imigrate to Germany after having to flee from the town of Kischker in the Batschka region of former Austria-Hungary/Yugoslavia. My paternal side is from the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
It is known that there are some connections on my maternal side to people that emigrated to the USA. On my paternal side, my aunt (half-sister of my father) married a US soldier who was stationed in Ramstein and originated from Tennessee. After her death, he returned to the US, but we don't know much about his ancestors or any living relatives.
In case of my untimely death, I want the profiles managed by me to be transferred to the next active member on the Trusted List who would like to adopt them, or to a member of the wikitree staff.
