Biography
Romain Després was born on 10 Jul 1824 and baptized on 22 Aug 1824 in Cocagne, New Brunswick, the son of Charlemagne Despres and Jeanne Richard.[1][2]
Romain married Julie Caissie, daughter of Hormisdas [Didace] Caissie and Bibianne LeBlanc, on 1 Aug 1875 in Grande-Digue.[3][4]
He died on 17 Feb 1877 and was buried two days later in Cocagne.[5] His age noted in the parish register was 52 years, the husband of Julie Richard [sic for Caissie].
