Dulce May Davis was born on 16 February 1910 at Macclesfield, South Australia, Australia. She was the first child of Albert Ebenezer and Amy Davis (nee Cox).[1]
Dulce Married John Hancox at the Macclesfield Methodist church on 25 April 1936.[2]
DAVIS--HANCOX. — The marriage of Dulce, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Davis, of Macclesfield, to John, only son of the late Mr and Mrs. T. Hancox, of Rugby, England, will be solemnised at Methodist Church. MaccIesfield. on Saturday, 25th April. at 3 p.m[3]The couple lived at Verran in August 1939 when their son was born.
HANCOX (nee Dulce Davis).—On the 26th of August, at Cleve Hospital, to Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Hancox, of Verran—a son.[4]
By 1943, they lived in Baltimore Street, Port Lincoln.[5]
John died in 1968. Dulce lived in Port Lincoln until her death on 4 July 1993, aged 83.[6]
