Thelma Faye Collins was born on July 3, 1940, in McGivney, New Brunswick, Canada, her father, John, was 45, and her mother, Margaret, was 41. She married Robert Burton Palmer on March 2, 1963, in her hometown.[1] They had four children during their marriage. She died on October 20, 2021, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 81, and was buried in McGivney, New Brunswick, Canada.

The passing of Thelma Fay Carson of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Robert Palmer occurred on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Hospice House Fredericton. Born on July 3, 1940 in McGivney, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (McConvey) Collins. Thelma is survived by daughters, Roxie Palmer (Sidney), Vicky Palmer (Derek) and Nancy Storey (Doug); son, Bob Palmer (Sabrina); grandchildren, Jodi (Andre), Brandon, Kaitlyn, Jeremy, Cody, Joel and Sophia; great grandchildren, Sebastien, Mathieu, Callie and Wendi; sister, Myrtle Doak; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Thelma was predeceased by her siblings, Lawrence, Vernard, Cecil, William, Jackie, Jeannie, Elva and Shirley.
