Sybil wife of William de Say

WikiTree currently shows Sybil, wife of William de Say (b. before 1209), as daughter of one of the Magna Carta Illustrious Men, John Marshal and his wife Aline de Rie. Sibyl's profile was unsourced, but I have found a source for her in Richardson's Magna Carta Ancestry, 2nd edition, Vol. III p. 497, viewable on Google Books. Richardson clearly regards her parentage as uncertain, and states that she was said to be daughter of a John Marshal of either Lenton, Nottinghamshire or Linton, Kent. That would suggest that, if she was a member of a Marshal family, her father was not the Illustrious Man. Does anyone have a source to support her being his daughter? If not, I am proposing to detach her from him, with a research note on his and her profiles.

The Say section in the newer Royal Ancestry says the same, and she is not mentioned under Hingham in the Magna Carta John Marshall's family. I recall DR has looked into this family a fair bit because of the question of John Marshall's parentage, so I doubt this is going to be a mere slip.

If it were true it would mean that her daughter Hawise married a 1st cousin.
