i uploaded a GEDCom but recieved no conformation email [closed]

Question

I have a 2016-11-22 19:41:57. uploaded a GEDCOM but I have not received confirmation email, with the link to the GEDCompare raport, I checked my spam box too I could not find anything, what do I do now

It appears that your GEDCOM got stuck in processing. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like we won't be able to process it.

I sent you an email about this but maybe it went to your spam folder?

Resubmitting your GEDCOM will cause the same problem to occur. If you'd like to send me your GEDCOM file, I can create a fresh GEDCOM with my family history software and you can upload that one instead. This has worked for others in the past.

Thank you Eowyn Langholf for fixing another person's GEDCOM file.  I believe that my GEDCOM file is meeting the same fate as Enoch's.  There is probably some line in the file that hangs up the system while importing.  I have uploaded twice.  The first time it never seemed to progress.  I came back the next day and could not find it or an e-mail about the file.  I tried uploading it again.  There was some recognition by the system that I had uploaded a GEDCOM before and it seemed like I might be able to find that data by following the links about my previous upload but there was nothing there.  It kept saying that I had not uploaded a GEDCOM.

So I uploaded again and it did the same thing and now does not give a progress status and says that I have not loaded a GEDCOM again.

I would not want to purden you if this it alot to deal with. If your software is reasonable to deal with I would like to clean up my file of 715 relatives and use that to connect to some of the people that I can find on Wiki Tree,

Hi Van, go ahead and send me your GEDCOM file - eowyn at wikitree.com - and I'll make a fresh GEDCOM for you and you can try that :)  You might also want to edit your email address in your comment above. Spammers pull email addresses from forums sometimes.
