How is Edward related to John and Ellen Groves?

They all seem to live on Hardman Street in 1841. Could Ellen's maiden name be Sweeney? I'm not sure Margaret's maiden name could be Groves, since the census says she's born in Lancashire.

The profile I found for Ellen on familysearch shows her maiden name as Astleford. Ellen Astleford (1792–Deceased) • Person • Family Tree • FamilySearch

Thanks Allan, that sounds likely to me. I wonder if that means that Ellen Groves is also Curran or Sweeney.
Hello Hans,

I think i may have a distant connection to you :

Mary Grace formerly Simpson (born 1815 in High Legh, Cheshire, England, United Kingdom)

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Simpson-26085

maybe the grand-daughter of

William Simpson (born 1740 in Rostherne, Cheshire, England)

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Simpson-28194

via parents William and Anne and siblings Elizabeth and Joseph (none on wikitree)
Hello Hans,

The RC baptism of Charles Sweeny in 1833 confirms the maiden name of his mother as 'Curran'
Thanks for your help Allan, I'm now looking for sources to create the connection to William Simpson. I'm a bit confused as Mary Grace has John Simpson listed as her father. Are you saying that you think Simpson-28195 is her father?
