how do I add a couple of children to Buchanan-1676 when some one else is the PM

Question

Earlier in April I connected part of my family to Janet Dennistoun Findley nee Buchanan. I sent a message to the PM?? I have now gone back added some sources and changed some dates to her children. Missing is 2 children William b 1 Jan 1838 and John b 15 Jun 1852. Can someone please add this children. Thank you Heidi

The PM has not been active in a decade. Follow the Unresponsive Profile Manager guides to have them removed and then you can adopt or request to be made PM. 

To go ahead and add children for which you have primary source documentation, click Edit and then on the right hand side of your (desktop) screen, you will see below the current children a place to "add/remove child". Click that and you will be able to add additional children profiles.

The mentioned profile is open.

So you already can connect children, if you have change access to them.
