Buried in Nimitybelle cemetery.
One of the first 2 Greek immigrants; known as Jiggers Bulgary; He was convicted of Piracy in 1827, with 6 other Greeks, after robbing an English merchant ship travelling to Malta. Initially sentenced to death, the punishment was eventually changed to transportation to the colonies (New South Wales). He eventually received his ticket of leave. He married Mary Lyons from Cork in Ireland, in 1836.
